Privacy
This page describes the data handled by the LaunchSignoff website, product workspace, billing, public reports, and decision records.
Form data
When you request access, we collect your name, email address, professional role, and, if you provide it, your website address. We use this information only to process your request, organize pilot projects, and contact you about LaunchSignoff.
Account and project data
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, password hash, sessions, workspace settings, and the client and website details you add to projects. Passwords are handled by our authentication library and are never stored in plain text.
You can permanently delete an individual project or your complete account from the dashboard. Account deletion removes its sessions, workspace, projects, scans, reports, and decision records through database cascades.
Billing data
Stripe hosts checkout and the billing portal. Stripe receives the contact, billing, and payment details you enter there. Card numbers do not pass through LaunchSignoff. We store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, selected plan, subscription state, billing period, credit grants and usage, and the identifiers of processed webhook events. These records let us apply report quotas and avoid processing the same payment event twice.
Stripe keeps its own transaction records under its terms and legal obligations. Deleting a LaunchSignoff account removes the related billing and credit records from our database, but does not require Stripe to erase records it must retain. Read the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Public reports and client decisions
When a workspace owner publishes a report, its project name, client name, scan findings, screenshots, manual checklist, notes, and workspace branding become available through a long, non-sequential link. The link is excluded from search indexing and can be revoked by the workspace owner. Anyone who receives the active link can view the report, so it should be shared only with the intended client.
When a client records a decision, we store the selected decision, name, email address, optional comment, date, browser user agent, and a keyed hash of the network address. We do not store the raw network address in the decision record. The record documents a project decision and is not a certified electronic signature.
PDFs are generated on request from the active report and are not kept as a separate permanent copy by LaunchSignoff. A configured server-to-server notification service may receive the report details, decision, comment, and owner and client email addresses to deliver the confirmation.
Audience measurement
LaunchSignoff uses HeyCatch to understand visits, sessions, page changes, and interactions such as clicks and form submissions. Form field contents are excluded and session replay is disabled. HeyCatch may process IP addresses, device and browser data, and SDK identifiers as our analytics processor. Read the HeyCatch Data Processing Addendum.
Sharing and retention
Requests may be sent to the configurable service used to receive them. Account, project, billing state, and credit data is stored in PostgreSQL on the application infrastructure. Stripe processes checkout and billing data. This information is not sold or used to train a model. Final retention periods and the complete provider list will be published before the broader public beta.
